Go Hawks!

This is our last day in Kerala; can’t believe it has already been two weeks here. But alas, every journey comes to an end!

We had a small talk by Architect Lata Raman in the morning, then we headed to visit the Alleppey canal project. Mrs. Raman presented a very informative session on Total Water Management concept, which has been applied to the canal restoration project. The team of Inspiration promotes a decentralized Anaerobic Waste Water Treatment System rather than a conventional centralized system, because of the many benefits it has, like low maintenance, no need of high skilled manpower and no smell. Additionally, it can be decentralized to single buildings and small areas. In the Alleppey canal restoration project, the team has worked diligently towards cleaning and rejuvenating the canal and surrounding areas as well.

Our group then headed towards Xandari Pearl, which is a very beautiful beach resort with scenic views and exotically designed indoor and outdoor spaces. The food was delicious as well, and they cute little pastries in beautiful swan bowls. Then, there was a short presentation from our group, about the amazing experience we had in Kerala, represented by five amazing friends of ours. After that, we played with the sea till late evening and prepared ourselves for the goodbyes!

Kerala gave us an amazing life experience – the world has a lot to learn from it! And our group was the most amazing one! My heart is puzzled with sadness and gratefulness for these dreamy weeks!

Thank you Kerala!
